Looking for a quick, wholesome breakfast your baby will actually want to eat? These strawberry pancakes are a hit in our home — soft, naturally sweet, and full of simple ingredients you likely already have on hand. Perfect for baby-led weaning or as a finger food snack!

 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole oats (not instant)
  • 1 egg
  • Milk (add as needed to get a loose, pancake-like consistency)
  • Sliced strawberries
  • Cinnamon (optional, to taste)
  • Butter or olive oil (for the pan)

Grind the Oats

Place the whole oats in a blender and pulse until they reach a fine, flour-like texture or very small chunks — think baby-friendly!

Mix It All Together

In a bowl, whisk the egg and slowly add milk until the mixture forms a loose, pourable paste. Sprinkle in some cinnamon if your little one enjoys a hint of spice.

Add the Strawberries

Gently stir in the sliced strawberries. They’ll add natural sweetness and soft bites of fruit in every pancake.

Cook the Pancakes

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or olive oil. Scoop a spoonful of the mix with a strawberry slice and drop it onto the pan. Cook each side until golden brown — about 1–2 minutes per side.

Serve & Enjoy

Let the pancakes cool slightly before serving. They’re soft, easy to hold, and great for little hands exploring solid foods.

🍽️ Serving Suggestion:

We love pairing these pancakes with a small dollop of plain yogurt or unsweetened applesauce for extra creaminess and flavor. For mess-free mealtimes, serve them in our Silicone Baby Feeding Set with Suction Cups — designed to stay put on highchair trays and keep those pancakes right where they belong (not on the floor!).

Our feeding set is soft, BPA-free, and perfectly sized for little learners — making self-feeding a lot more fun (and a lot less stressful for parents).

👶 Tip from Our Family:

Make a double batch and store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days — or freeze between sheets of parchment paper for a quick, warm breakfast any day of the week.
